About the Role
As our first Developer Advocate, you’ll own the roadmap, priorities, and execution for developer relations at Frame.io. You will inspire customer and partner developers to build cool things with the Frame.io platform, advocate for their needs internally and externally, and help them as needed.
In this role, you’ll:
Work alongside our Platform and Partner teams to drive adoption and success within Frame.io’s developer ecosystem.
Contribute to Frame.io’s open source ecosystem with example apps, SDKs, and code samples.
Help debug and troubleshoot on behalf of our developer community.
Become a trusted voice in the world of video technology by helping developers build better video workflows.
Speak and write for a developer audience, submitting talks, writing blog posts, and potentially representing Frame.io at conferences.
Help create a seamless onboarding experience for developers by ensuring that we have a great strategy that unifies our guides, documentation, and sample code/apps.
You’re an empathetic translator, a writer, and above all, a technical storyteller. You do more than talk about technology: you present it with an enthusiasm that gets other people as excited as you are about driving adoption within a world-class ecosystem.
If you’re successful, you will inspire and equip developers to build the next generation of amazing video applications, and in the process, transform Frame.io into a critical component of a deeply connected ecosystem.
At Frame.io, we’re powering the future of creative collaboration. Over 700,000 video professionals use Frame.io to seamlessly share media and gather timestamped feedback from team members and clients. Simply put, we help companies create better video, together.
We want you to get better, too. We believe that we have a duty to be the stewards of your career, both at Frame.io and beyond. Having conversations about your entire career and not just your time here helps align our incentives and makes everything so much easier.
Frame.io is backed by Accel, SignalFire, FirstMark, Jared Leto and a host of other phenomenal investors. We’ve built a highly functional and market-leading product used and loved by companies such as Turner, Disney, NASA, Snapchat, BBC, BuzzFeed, TED, Adobe, Udemy, and many more.
